Eco-activism at LHS
Following a recent assembly on the effects that global warming is having on our environment and climate, we are forming a new Eco club at LHS. What could possibly become the most important and active club in the school we are asking for a couple of Eco-Monitors to represent each Tutor Group and work on projects within the School and local environment.
During the assembly, a passionate talk was given by Nell and Molly L who are two students already heavily committed to raising and tackling this issue.
Our site Manager, Mr Parmar, and Nell L have both been awarded by Leicester City Council for their environmental work, and we all hope to follow their example of working to better our World.
