Rotary Club of Leicester ‘Young Writers’ Competition: Winners announced
The English Department is thrilled to announce that the following girls have been named as winners in the Rotary Club of Leicester’s Young Writers Competition. The theme this year was ‘The Environment’.
The girls awarded 1st and 2nd prize in each age category will now go through to the District Final.
Junior Age Category
·1st: Zara J 6B
·2nd: Khadijah A 6B
·3rd: Alisha K 6B
Intermediate Age Category
·1st Evony H 9S
·2nd Sabine S 9C
·3rd Raniyah F 9S
A special ‘extra’ prize was also awarded to Caitlin J in 8T because the judges really enjoyed her penguin's eye view of the environment!
