Sarah and Leah both play for Loughborough Lightning and this new sponsorship deal is a first step on the development of a strong relationship between the club and the School.

Sarah Hunter has played at the top level for 11 years and was awarded an MBE for Services to Rugby, as well as being awarded Player of the Year in 2016.

Leicester born Leah Bartlett is a rising star in the sport who is part of the England U20s squad.

Both Sarah and Leah visited the School on Friday 7 September. They ran a coaching session, met with girls and then joined teaching staff, parents and girls for the new term afternoon tea, before being joined by the School’s youngest and oldest Junior Department girl to open the new Junior Department playground.
