We are delighted that you are considering Leicester High School for your daughter, and we hope that you will find the information you are seeking on these pages and elsewhere on the website.
If you don't know much about us or can't quite find what you are looking for, then please do not hesitate to call Mrs Alice Hailes, the Admissions Officer, on 0116 270 5338 (Telephone from overseas: +44-116 270 5338) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
She understands that parents have different needs and concerns and be reassured that if something is important to you, then it is important to us too.
Girls join us at any year group from ages 3-17, but inevitably we take most girls in Foundation and Reception, and Years 6, 7 and 12. Whatever stage you are at, we urge you to visit us because it is only then that you will see fully what we offer, how we differ from other schools, and whether this is what is right for you and your daughter. Even if you know parts of the school quite well, or the school has been highly recommended by a friend, we would welcome the opportunity to show you Leicester High, as schools evolve and change constantly. You can visit us on a working day or on an Open Day, whatever suits you best, with or without your daughter.
For Years 1-5 in the Junior Department, when you think that Leicester High is the school for you and your daughter, complete the Registration Form and send it back to us. This will then ensure that your daughter is booked in for an assessment during the school day at a mutually convenient time. Feedback from all assessments is promptly provided to parents by the Head of the Junior Department.
For Years 6-13 in the Senior School, when you are more certain that Leicester High is a school for you and your daughter, register with us by sending us a completed Registration Form, as this books her place for the Entrance Examinations in January, and allows us to keep you informed of events for potential parents. The results of the Examinations are published at the end of January, and induction for new girls and parents is in June.
