Masterclasses, Holiday Camps & Classes
During each school year we hold Masterclasses for talented girls from local primary schools. They particularly suit Year 5 and 6 pupils who have an interest and ability in their subjects and wish to explore their potential. The classes are primarily fun, but also help to develop confidence and prepare the girls for the move to secondary school. Masterclasses are free of charge.
The classes are on Saturday mornings, usually, but not always, from 10am-12pm, and over the year we have organised netball, maths, geography, science and history masterclasses. We ask local primary head teachers to forward details of the Masterclasses to parents of gifted and talented children. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee places for all of the children who apply, as the courses are usually heavily oversubscribed.
Masterclasses in 2015/16 are:
Performing Arts: Saturday 9 November, 3-6pm
Maths: Saturday 14 November, 8.30-10.30am
English: Saturday 30 January 2016, 10am-12pm
Geography: Saturday 5 March 2016, 10am-12pm
History: Saturday 14 May 2016, 10am-12pm
Science: Saturday 25 June 10am-12pm

Holiday Camps, Clubs & Classes
Over the holidays, and on Saturdays, third party organisations sometimes hire our premises and offer various activities. Please contact them directly, and view any camps/holiday clubs on the attached documents below.
Stagecoach offers sessions at Leicester High School from 10am to 1pm on Saturday mornings,
when students aged 7-18 enjoy an hour of singing, an hour of dance and an
hour of drama. They also run Early Stages, for 4-6 or 7 year olds throughout the day on Saturdays, 9.30- 11am, 11.15am-12.45pm and 2pm-3.30pm when younger students come to enjoy half an hour of each discipline, (dance, drama and singing).
