Leicester High is an independent, selective day school for girls aged from 3-18 years. We have been educating girls for over 100 years, and the school has been on its current site for over 85 years. In 1985 the school changed its name from Portland House to Leicester High School for Girls. In 2010, the school was significantly extended, creating many more opportunities for the girls, as detailed below.

The school benefited from a £3.7m extension in 2010.
