D-Day Commemorations 6.6.19

Leicester High School for Girls held a series of activities to commemorate 75 years since the D-Day landings.

There was a photo booth where the girls had the opportunity to drop by and adopt the Rosie the Riveter pose and take a selfie. Chef Andy baked biscuits from wartime recipes for the pop up free cafe and there was a display in Resources about the D-Day Landings.

Miss Paul gave a short talk on the impact and importance of D-Day to the war effort.
