Remote Learning

We understand that, during these difficult times, our parents and girls need to be reassured that we will continue to provide a high quality and robust education, whatever circumstances we may face.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for the way you have all managed the sudden change to remote learning. The support the girls are getting both academically and pastorally is a tribute to you all.

Senior School

If your daughter needs to self-isolate, Senior teaching staff will set work for each lesson via our online Show My Homework system. Feedback will be given verbally or work will be marked and returned, to enable you, and us, to keep track of how your daughter is progressing.

Pastoral support will continue to be provided through contact with your daughter’s Form Tutor and Head of Year. Our School Nurse is also available to answer any queries or concerns, through email, telephone or Teams meetings.

Junior Department

In the Junior Department, work will be set on SatchelOne (For Years 1 to 5) or Tapestry (for EYFS). Girls will be taught the same curriculum remotely as they would be taught in School, wherever possible and appropriate. Teachers will provide classwork and homework to ensure the pupils’ learning is as uninterrupted as possible. Teachers will provide work and details of how to submit the work.

Pastoral support will be provided from your daughter's class teacher who is happy to speak to parents via Teams on any concerns you may have.
