How to Apply – Sixth Form

Step 1: Visit Us

We have Open Days at set dates during the year, including a specific Sixth Form Open Evening in November. However, you are welcome to arrange a personal visit outside of these times – either instead of, or in addition to, attending an Open Day.

Please visit us as many times as you need. You will also be invited to attend a Taster Day where you will spend time in lessons with your future classmates and time in the Sixth Form.

Step 2: Register

Once you have decided that you would like to progress with an application, you need to complete a Registration Form and return it to the School with an £85.00 registration fee. We will also need to take a copy of your passport and birth certificate and a copy of your predicted grades. We will also need a report from your current school.

Girls wishing to join the Sixth Form in Year 12 must have at least a Level 6 in six academically rigorous and relevant subjects at GCSE, including English and Maths and at least Level 7 in those subjects you wish to study at A Level.

If your predicted grades meet the above requirements, you will be given a conditional offer to join the Sixth Form, which is dependent on you achieving the entry requirements in your GCSEs.

Step 3: Induction Day

When a new girl is due to join us in September, they will be invited to attend an Induction Day, usually in the June before. This is an opportunity for you to get to know the staff, the School and each other before School starts.

Step 4: GCSE Results Day

On GCSE results day in August, you will be invited to come into the School to meet with our Admissions Officer and our Head of Sixth Form, with your GCSE results. If you have met the entry requirements for Sixth Form admission, your offer of a place at the School will be confirmed and your contract issued.

This will need to be signed by your parents and returned, along with the £250 deposit to secure your place.
