The findings of the ISI Inspection Report 2015 are 'excellent' in all nine categories, which is a tremendous achievement for the School, and a 'significant improvement' on the last report in 2009. Alan Whelpdale, Headmaster says, 'I am delighted with the findings for both the girls and staff who make the School an outstanding community. I am particularly proud that we have achieved 'excellent' in pupil learning and achievement, teaching and pastoral care. These are the measures of an excellent school, and I feel proud to say that we too are now an excellent school.'

The Inspectors spent four days in the School during the second half of the Autumn term, and published their report just before Christmas. They sent questionnaires to pupils and parents, checked all School procedures and policies and also observed many lessons across the School. The nine categories and findings in summary are:

Quality of pupils' achievements and learning: Excellent
Contribution of curricular and extracurricular provision: Excellent
Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the pupils: Excellent
Pastoral care: Excellent
Arrangements for welfare, health and safety: Excellent
Quality of governance: Excellent
Quality of leadership and management: Excellent
Quality of links with parents, carers and guardians: Excellent
Contribution of the teaching: Excellent

Margaret Bowler, Chair of Governors, said in summary, 'This outstanding report is a testament to the commitment of all staff, governors and pupils to the success of every girl that passes through the school. I would also like to thank all parents for their support and encouragement during the inspection.'
