Years 6 and 7 Trip to London
Years 6 and 7 visited London on an expressive arts trip to remember in their first week at Leicester High. They visited Tate Modern, and also enjoyed a theatre trip to see Matilda.
On Wednesday 3 September, Year 6 and 7 went on a very exciting trip to London. It all started at an extremely early hour of the morning, 6:30am, and we were all very lively in spite of this. We arrived at the Tate Modern Gallery at about 10 o’clock. One or two groups looked at the main exhibit, the ‘Matisse’ cut outs, while the others looked around the rest of the gallery.
After a short coach journey, we arrived at ‘The Cambridge Theatre’ ready to watch the musical, ‘Matilda’. After finding our seats, the show began. We were all highly impressed with the hilarious and entertaining show. It was a great day out that we all thoroughly enjoyed! A big thank you to all of the teachers that came with us and Mrs Bott for organising it!
