Dear Parents, 

 

I hope you have had an enjoyable and restful break. We are looking forward to welcoming the girls back to School tomorrow. Ahead of this, I would like to highlight some of the measures we have put in place for the safety of our community:

At-home testing 

We ask that all Senior School girls (Years 6-13) complete an at-home LFD test before their return to School. We are then asking that all Senior school girls continue to test twice a week at home, preferably on Wednesday and Sunday. Please report any positive test results to positive@leicesterhigh.co.uk  

In-School testing 

In line with Government guidance, we will be providing an on-site Covid-19 test, on Wednesday 5 January, for all girls in Years 6-10. These tests will take place during the School day. In order to avoid disrupting those girls who are taking Mock Examinations, we will not be on-site testing students in Years 11, 12 and 13. Instead, we are asking that they take additional tests at home during their mock examination period. 

Face coverings 

We ask that all Senior School girls continue to wear a face-covering in corridors and other communal areas throughout the School. In addition, following the latest Government guidance, all Senior School girls will also be required to wear a face-covering in the classroom during their lessons.
