Trips & Visits
Exciting and inspiring trips bring learning to life and broaden minds. Some trips, such as DofE, stretch the girls, take them out of their comfort zones, and help them to see what they are really capable of. We hope to teach the girls to take risks, embrace life and take every opportunity open to them.
There is always something happening at Leicester High. If the girls aren't going out, then an author or speaker is coming in. We are passionate about trips because we believe in the value they add to an all-round education. In the Senior School alone, trips have increased in number year on year to approximately 80 taking place each year, which amounts to over two trips per week. Morocco, Malta, Salamanca, the Ardeche, and New York are trips abroad in the recent past or near future. All trips and visits reflect a full range of activities and subjects: from surfing to skiing, Spanish to sociology, and careers to canoeing.
