Our high A Level grades,  with 45% of the grades at A*/A, and 91% at A*-C,  resulted in high numbers of the girls securing a place at their first choice university.

16-year-old Leicester High School student, Aamina Bhutta, has secured her place to study Physics at the University of Leicester with grades of BBB, despite being two years younger than most of her classmates! Aamina joined the Sixth Form in 2016 as an Ogden Trust Scholar, following her achieving impressive GCSEs aged just 14.

Two other scholars are also celebrating. The Sir Thomas White Trust provides scholarships for exceptional girls to join the School’s Sixth Form. Thomas White Scholar Jaspreet Nandhra has secured her place to study Pharmacy at Manchester and Rafiah Mazumder to study Civil Engineering at Loughborough.

The School is also delighted that six girls will be following their dreams of studying Medicine. Leyya Adam, Maryam Durojaiye, Shivani Ganesh, Niha Hussain, Roshni Jutha and Head Girl Ruhi Vaitha all secured their places with a total of 15 A*/A between them.

The School is also celebrating double Cambridge success with aspiring mathematician and Deputy Head Girl, Hannah Erlebach, and Jasvin Kaur, who will be studying Natural Sciences, both securing places to study at the prestigious university. Hannah achieving four A*s and Jasvin achieving three A*s.
