Visits, Open Days and Mornings

Visiting the School

Open Mornings

Our Junior Department Open Morning, for Year Foundation to Year 5, will take place on Wednesday 8th May, 9.00am - 11.30am.  Book online

This will give you the opportunity to visit the Junior Department on a normal School day and see the Department in action. There will be a chance to meet with key members of staff, to tour the School and ask any questions you may have.

Our all School Open Morning will take place on Saturday 5th October 2019, 9.30am - 12.30pm.  Book online

Our Saturday Open Morning is for potential families interested in joining the School into any year, from Year Foundation through to Sixth Form. You will be able to tour the School as well as hear from the Headmaster and other key members of staff. Interactive activities will allow you to get involved in the subjects.

Private Tours

We know commitments may mean families cannot always attend our set Open Days and we also know that families may wish to visit us more than once before making their decision.

We therefore welcome visits from prospective parents at any time. Please contact Mrs Alice Hailes on 0116 270 5338 or at and we will arrange a time to suit you.

Most visits involve a tour of the School and a meeting with the Headmaster or Head of the Junior Department, depending where your focus lies. Your daughter is welcome to attend with you if you wish. If you need to visit us more than once, that's fine. We understand the process is different for every family.

Taster Days

Before joining us, many girls come for a 'Taster Day' where they have their chance to try out lessons, make friends, have lunch and see the facilities. These allow your daughter to really experience what being an LHS girl means and can be a helpful step during your decision-making. You can arrange a Taster Day either before or after your daughter has been assessed for entrance to the School.

Please contact Mrs Alice Hailes on 0116 270 5338 or at and we will arrange a time to suit you.
