Dear Parents,

As we approach the Easter break, it’s hard to believe how quickly the past few weeks have passed. The School has been full of energy, with pupils making the most of the opportunities available to them. From the success of our award-winning choir to achievements in STEM challenges, this half term has been one of pride and celebration.

Whether it was the Year 11 geographers carrying out fieldwork in Swanage or the girls in Years 4 and 5 recording a song for a national programme after impressing judges in the Jigsaw Voice competition, pupils have continued to engage fully in a wide range of activities. A particular highlight was our production of Wind in the Willows, which was both enjoyable and memorable. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants also took on the challenges of their expedition weekend with determination and resilience.

As we head into the Easter holidays, it is encouraging to see the continued growth in pupils’ confidence, creativity and curiosity – all of which will stand them in good stead as we look ahead to the exam season.

Wishing you a restful and enjoyable break.

Mr Alan Whelpdale,

Headmaster
