Excellent in all categories: ISI Inspection, November 2022

As another busy half-term comes to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents for their on-going support of the School. It has been wonderful to see so many of you in School recently for events, including the fantastic Daisy Pulls It Off performances last week.

Next half-term promises to be equally busy, with music concerts, sporting events, competitions, trips and visits, as well as a Dame of the theatre visiting us, and all the excellent work which takes place every day in our classrooms.

I hope you all enjoy a restful half-term break and I look forward to welcoming our students back to School on Monday 27 February.

Mr Alan Whelpdale,

Headmaster

Daisy Pulls It Off

New Starters to LHS

We have two new additions to our LHS family!

Our two Guinea Pigs are just starting to settle into their new home at the Senior School.

The two female Guinea Pigs are very young, so we are keeping distractions to a minimum, but they are starting to settle in and more of our students are starting to meet them.

Dr Washington and her Tutor Group (8C) are looking after the Guinea Pigs, thank you to those students for their care and time.

After half-term, we will have a naming competition; although Sausage and Princess Sawdust are the temporary names being used at the moment.

Mrs T's Pop-Up Sewing Lessons

Mrs T's lunchtime Pop-Up Sewing Lessons in the library, where the girls made gloves, scrunchies, headbands and card purses out of recycled fabric. Well done to the Year 6 seamstresses!
