LHS Newsletter: 26 May 2023

We have reached half-term and the sun is shining. Life is good at LHS! As you know, we are in the midst of public examinations: GCSEs and A Levels. The conduct of our students has been exemplary. Every single student has turned up on time and for every examination – not only is that extraordinary, it also demonstrates resilience and commitment. The examinations continue after the half-term break and I wish our students every success. Of course, part of their success will be down to the excellent teaching throughout the School, and I would like to thank the staff for their continued hard work and loyalty to their students.

Mr Alan Whelpdale,

Headmaster

Pre-loved Uniform

It’s that time of year, when you might be thinking about replacing items of uniform.

We are happy for you to donate any items of pre-loved uniform that might be suitable for us to sell on. Blazers and skirts are always in demand. We just ask that they are good quality: without missing buttons, pilling or tears, and clean: without any marks, particularly deodorant stains on shirts.

If you have any donations they can be handed in at Main Reception.
