School Closure- Keyworker Children

Updated 20 May 2020

From Friday 20 March 2020, the School buildings became closed to all girls. The only exception being the children of key workers who are crucial to the coronavirus effort.

The advice from the Government is:

You should only send your child to School if you have to because your work is critical to our COVID-19 response. If you are able to keep your child at home, you should.

If your daughter has to be in School during this time, your daughter can be dropped off at 8.30am, when they will be signed in. We have relaxed our rules so all families can drive onto the site during this time. Please ensure you adhere to social distancing guidance during drop off and pick up.

Junior Department and Senior School students should arrive at the Pupil Foyer in the Senior Building where they will be registered.

All pupils who are learning in School will be supervised and be able to access the work which has been set for all girls. All girls must be collected by 5.00pm.

Your daughter can wear her home clothes, so that it is easier to wear clean clothes every day for hygiene purposes. From Monday 1st June, girls will be required to wear their uniform.

Lunch is NOT  provided and girls will need to bring a packed lunch. Children should also bring a named water bottle and a snack.

If key worker parents have requested that their daughters remain in School, please may I ask that you inform the School if, for whatever reason, this changes. We are trying to follow government guidance and run the School on a skeleton staff.
