Subject overview

Religion affects all aspects of life and influences many decisions and actions. It is, therefore, important to develop an insight into areas of knowledge, belief and thought central to an understanding of the modern world. Through a study of philosophy, ethics, teachings and the world’s major religions, pupils will be equipped with a range of skills which will help them to make sense of contemporary events.
