Visits, Open Days and Mornings
Our next Open Mornings are as follows:
Wednesday 14 March - Senior School (Years 6 to Year 13) only
Wednesday 25 April - Junior Department (Foundation to Year 5) only
Please book to attend.
Our Open Mornings offer you a fantastic opportunity to view the School on a working day and to hear from current girls, as well as staff. However you are able to visit the School at any time to suit you. Please see below for details.
Spring Celebration in the Junior Department
We also have a Spring Celebration in the Junior Department taking place on Tuesday 20 March 1.30pm - 3.00pm. Join us for Spring craft activities and an Easter egg hunt.
Everyone is welcome to attend!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or book to attend.
We welcome visits from prospective parents at any time. If you wish to visit us but cannot come to an Open Morning or Evening, please contact Mrs Alice Hailes on 0116 270 5338 or at email@example.com and arrange a time to suit you. Most visits involve a tour and a meeting with the Headmaster or Head of the Junior Department, depending where your focus lies. Bring your daughter with you if you wish, but don't feel you have to. If you need to visit us more than once, that's fine. There is no right or wrong way, as all parents have different needs.
For Years 6-10 in the Senior School, the Entrance Examination is in January every year, so the Autumn term is a good time to visit if you think your move to us is imminent, but if you are planning ahead, then any time is fine. Alternative entrance examination testing days are available throughout the Spring and Summer terms.
For Years 1-5 in the Junior Department, an assessment can be arranged at a mutually convenient time during a school day. Your daughter will complete some maths and English work and also spend time in the appropriate year group, where she can learn alongside the girls and meet the teacher. A summary of your daughter's assessment will be promptly provided by The Head of the Junior Department.
Many girls come for a 'Taster Day' where they have their chance to try out lessons, make friends, have lunch and see the facilities. Please call to arrange a date to suit you.
