Skipathon Success!

Girls in Years 6-8 raised an incredible £1403....

66 girls, 33 ropes, one sunny lunchtime.  On 8 June, girls from Years 6-8 took part in the British Heart Foundation Skipathon in order to raise money for essential research and support for families living with heart defects.  The girls entered in teams, created their own promotional posters, baked their own treats, competed against each other in skipping challenges AND made sure they kept a skipping relay going for the whole lunch time. Phew! It was a lot of hard work and a lot of good fun! The grand total of sponsorship money raised was £1,403. Well done to all girls who took part and to all parents and friends who sponsored the skippers.  Thank you to the Year 10 and Sixth Form students who offered their help in organising and assisting to run the very successful event.  Same time next year.....
