Sixth Form Tutor
Sixth Form is about change.
In two short years students face decisions about university,
careers, voting, relationships and more.
How do we give them the emotional support they need?
Our Sixth Form Tutors focus on building relationships with students
- achievable when the size of the Tutor group is less than twelve.
Meetings, held twice a day, are often animated discussions ranging
from the daily news to quizzes and poetry. It’s through these
conversations that students and staff quickly get to know each other.
The Head of Sixth Form is accessible, high profile and close by - not
a distant figure in a separate building. Specialist advice is regularly
sought from Nurse Abby, our medical professional
on site all day, every day.
Everyone is known and feels known.
Style-wise think of us as more extended family than huge campus.
