Subject overview

Drama is an inspiring course which helps you to develop in confidence and self-discipline through working with each other in a safe and nurturing environment. You will develop the skills required to make, perform, interpret and understand drama and theatre and well as an understanding and appreciation of how the social, cultural and historical contexts of performance texts have influenced the development of drama and theatre.

Lessons are taught in our dedicated drama studio which provides up-to-date facilities for study and performance.

You will develop an understanding of the collaborative relationship between various roles within the theatre which will help you to determine which area of the arts you may wish to enter.
