Junior Sports Day

Junior Sports Day was as exciting as ever...

Everyone enjoyed another successful Sports Day with dry weather and hard work from all pupils and staff.

In the events held before Sports Day, many girls were able to gain points which helped their Houses for the final totals.

Again, there were many different faces being placed in the races and some different winners to last year.

The winner of the Victrix Lodorum for Year 3 was Lola Kermode, Year 4 was Lytheah Heskey-Morrison and for Year 5 it was Nya Patel.  In a very close contest for the Victrix Lodorum trophy the results will be announced on the last day of term.

However, points at the half way stage saw Beaumanor in the lead with 97, Bradgate with 84 and Charnwood with 94, but would they win at the end?

After the final race, points were collated and the results were Bradgate in third place with 163 points, Beaumanor in second place with 165 points, whilst Charnwood were able to overtake Beaumanor and were crowned overall winners for the 4th  year running with 199 points.
