A level History Students attend Tudor Conference
Girls studying history in Ys12-13 meet eminent Historians at Tudor Conference in London.
Year 12-13 historians travelled to Shaftsbury Avenue, London, to attend a Tudor Conference lead by experts in the field. Girls listened studiously to John Guy and David Starkey who talked at length about the significance of characters such as Cardinal Wolsey and Mary I. Aside from being an excellent preparation for university, it gave girls an insight into the nature of historiography and historical debate which they need to embed into their own work.
