Mathematics at Leicester High

Years studied: Years 6 – 11. Mathematics is a core subject which is studied by all girls at GCSE. Mathematics and Further Mathematics are offered as options at A Level.

Mathematical subjects are chosen to ensure that each pupil learns at an appropriate pace and that more stretching work can be given to the mathematically able.

You will develop and build your numerical competence and analytical skills which can be used in everyday life, as well as problem-solving techniques and the ability to work independently.
