Forms at Leicester High School were challenged to create Christmas Wreaths this December
Form Captains and Deputy Form Captains were invited a special event to thank them for their work.
Following our closure on Monday 11 December, snowy Leicester High School reopened today.
Leicetser High School will be open as usual on Tuesday 12 December.
Due to the severe weather conditions, Leicester High School will be closed on Monday 11 December.
On Friday 8th December, girls from the Sixth Form were invited to attend a prestigious debating competition which took place at Stamford High School.
Leicester High School for Girls is delighted to have been awarded Champion School status by the NCS EM1, the regional provider of the National Citizen Service (NCS), a flagship youth programme for 16 and 17 year olds.
On Thursday 7 December, six enthusiastic teams of Year 7 girls took part in the hugely enjoyable first round of this year’s Rotary Youth Speaks Intermediate competition. The girls spoke in teams of three on a wide range of subjects, from “Should we always tell the truth?” to “The Importance of Conversation”.
The Junior Department's Christingle Service took place on Thursday 7.12.17
Girls from EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2 performed 'Prickly Hay' as their nativity this year.
Leicester High School's Carols by Candlelight Service at St James the Greater took place on the evening of Wednesday 6 December.
