How does the lunch system work?

School lunches are included in the fees for the Junior Department and menus can be found at leicesterhigh.co.uk/lunch

In the Senior School, we operate a 'Grab and Go' lunch system, with daily hot and cold options. Senior School girls pay for their lunches using their SQuid card, our contactless payment system. Your daughter will be provided with her card when she starts at LHS.

What are your term dates?

Our term dates can be found online at leicesterhigh.co.uk/term-dates

We also have an online calendar leicesterhigh.co.uk/school-calendar where key activities and events during the academic year are listed.

How will I be updated about the School?

We post regular updates on our social media accounts and on the School website. Details of our social media accounts can be found on the enclosed postcard.

In addition to this, we send regular newsletters and parents are also signed up to our School Comms system which will ensure you receive all relevant letters to your inbox - please make sure we have your most up-to-date details.

You can access letters which have been set on the parent section of our website using username:parent@leicesterhigh.co.uk and Password: lancaster

You will be updated on your daughter's progress during Parents' Evenings and through reports. We are keen to involve our parents in School life and run parental events throughout the year.

How do I pay my School fees?

Fee invoices are issued before the beginning of each term ie August for the Autumn Term, December for the Spring Term and March/April for the Summer Term.

You can choose to pay the term's fees by bank transfer and these must be received by the School by the first day of term. The bank details can be found on your invoice.

Monthly bank transfers can also be accepted if the options above are not suitable, however, this option must be agreed in advance with the Finance Office. Please contact finance@leicesterhigh.co.uk.

Card payments can also be made over the phone by calling the Finance Department on 0116 270 5338 or 0116 274 6017 (direct line).

We accept monthly payments by direct debit. Each term’s invoice will be paid over four instalments, on the 5th day of each month. Mandates should be returned to finance@leicesterhigh.co.uk at least 10 days before the start of term.

Details of fees and additional costs can be found online at leicesterhigh.co.uk/fees
