Headmaster's Scholarships for Year 7 entry
For existing Year 6 students or those entering Year 7
The deadline for Headmaster's Scholarships for September 2024 entry is Thursday 4 January 2024.
Leicester High School for Girls has a long history of providing academic scholarships to selected girls joining Year 7. Our Headmaster’s Scholarships, provide support towards fees from Years 7-11, to girls joining the School in Year 7 in September 2024. These Scholarships are also open to existing Year 6 students who will be joining Year 7.
Scholarships of between 5% and 25% of School fees are awarded for outstanding performance in the January Entrance Examination.
The Headmaster’s Scholarships are not means-tested, however, we are keen to encourage applications from families who may not currently be considering an independent education. Therefore, depending on financial circumstances and fund availability, bursaries to cover up to 80% of fees are also available.

Complete our online Registration Form and choose Interested in the Headmaster's Scholarship for Year 7 from the Academic Scholarships Section.
