Leicester High School for Girls is celebrating the achievements of two talented pupils, Phoebe in Year 6 and Disha in Year 8, who have recently impressed audiences with their performance skills.
Over the past three weekends, Phoebe has performed in the Leicestershire Performance Competitions and achieved an incredible set of results: six 1st places, three 2nd places, one 3rd place, and the award for the highest mark in the Inter category. One of the competition adjudicators described her performance of Annie as “West End quality”—a testament to Phoebe’s talent, hard work and stage presence.
Her family shared their thanks to the School, writing:
“We are so overwhelmingly proud of her. She works so hard with everything that she does and always gives such dedication and commitment. We want to send our endless thank yous to all her teachers—you have helped Phoebe become more confident in herself, her ability, and to recognise her potential.”
Meanwhile, Disha in Year 8 recently took to the stage to perform a Bollywood dance in a local production. Her performance showcased her confidence and flair for performance.
Leicester High School for Girls is proud of all its girls and the way they balance their academic work with such inspiring success in outside interests.
