Leadership
Empowering girls to lead with confidence, curiosity, and character.
Our Vision
Every Girl is Known.
Every Girl is Valued.
Every Girl is inspired to be her best.
Leadership at Leicester High is shaped by this vision. We see leadership as part of everyday school life, not something limited to titles or formal positions. Every girl has the potential to lead, and we provide purposeful opportunities to help her grow in confidence, capability, and ambition.
We create space in lessons and co-curricular life for girls to collaborate, take initiative, and make a positive difference in school and beyond.
Why Leadership Matters
Leadership prepares pupils for an ever-changing world. When
girls learn to lead, they build confidence, resilience, teamwork, communication, and sound decision-making. These qualities support strong academic progress and prepare them for university, work, and life.
Our approach is:
-
Inclusive – every pupil can take part.
-
Progressive – responsibilities grow as they move through the School.
-
Practical – girls learn through experience.
-
Purposeful – leadership develops communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience.
