Student Stars as Shrek in Musical Performance
Year 8 pupil Phoebe Gibbs took centre stage on Saturday 1 November, starring as the lead character Shrek in Shrek the Musical Jr., performed by the Westley Drama Academy at the Sue Townsend Theatre, Leicester.
Phoebe delivered an incredible performance, bringing warmth, humour, and energy to the much-loved role. Her confident stage presence and dedication shone throughout the show, earning praise from the audience and fellow cast members alike.
Outside of school, Phoebe is a passionate performer who absolutely loves being on stage, and her commitment to drama continues to grow with each production she takes part in.
