Students Officiate at National Table Cricket Finals

Our students enjoyed a fantastic opportunity to officiate at the National Table Cricket Finals hosted by the Lord's Taverners.

As well as supporting the event throughout the day, the girls also had the chance to interview well-known figures from the cricket community, including former England Cricket Captain David Gower and Peter Graves from Sky Sports.

The event celebrated inclusive sport and brought together talented athletes from across the country in a brilliant atmosphere of teamwork, determination and encouragement. Our volunteers represented the school wonderfully, showing confidence, professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the day.

Following the event, the students were also given the opportunity to watch Middlesex v Derbyshire at the ground, making the day an even more memorable experience for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud of all the girls for the amazing work they did and for embracing such a memorable experience.

A huge thank you to Lord's Taverners for hosting the event and to Inspire Together for helping make this opportunity possible.

At Leicester High School for Girls, we are passionate about providing leadership opportunities that help students build confidence, communication skills and independence beyond the classroom
