Summer Fete
Monday 29 June 4.00pm - 5.30pm
Entry is free.
Come along and enjoy a traditional summer fete with stalls, fete games, a tombola, classic cars, and donkeys, as well as performances from our school choirs throughout the afternoon.
The fete is open to the whole community and promises to be a fun and relaxed summer afternoon for all ages.
There will be plenty to see and do, making it a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends while enjoying the atmosphere around the School.
Summer Camp
Monday 10 – Friday 14 August, 9.00am–3.00pm
Join us for a fun and active week of sport, games, STEM sessions and Creative activities at Leicester High School for Girls, led by our experienced Sports Coach and Sixth Formers.
Open to girls and boys aged 8–13, this friendly summer activity camp is a great opportunity for children to stay active, try new activities and make new friends in a supportive school environment.
£30 per day (sibling discount available).
Step into Sixth Form & Beyond: FREE Prep for A Level Day

Thinking about your next steps after GCSEs? Join us for Step into Sixth Form & Beyond, an engaging preparation day designed to help students aged 14–17 develop the skills, confidence and independent learning habits needed for success in Sixth Form and beyond.
Through interactive workshops, TED-style talks from specialist staff, collaborative challenges and insights into university life, students will discover what successful learners do differently and explore the opportunities available after Sixth Form.
Throughout the day, students will:
- Develop effective study and revision strategies
- Learn how to improve note-taking and independent learning skills
- Explore the concept of metacognition – learning how to learn
- Take part in academic discussions and team challenges
- Gain an understanding of university, apprenticeships and future career pathways
Open Morning
Saturday 26 September, 9.30am–12.00pm
Join us for our Open Morning at Leicester High School for Girls and discover the benefits of an independent girls’ school education.
Explore our Pre-School, Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form, meet our staff and pupils, and experience the warm and supportive atmosphere that makes our school community unique.
