Fees and Funding
Choosing an independent school is a significant decision for any family. At Leicester High School for Girls, our fees reflect the breadth of education we provide: strong academic teaching, individual care, pastoral support, enrichment, leadership opportunities and preparation for the future.
We aim to be clear and transparent about fees and additional costs. School fees cover the day-to-day education of your daughter and include healthy, freshly prepared school lunches each day.
Leicester High is a small, ambitious and supportive school where every girl is known, valued and inspired to be her best.

Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare
Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme that helps parents with the cost of childcare. Unlike Childcare Vouchers, which were processed through payroll, the new Tax-Free Childcare system is managed directly by parents through an online account on the HMRC website.
Providing certain criteria are met, you can use Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare to pay for the non-compulsory elements of your child’s education and care, including:
-
Home-based care, such as childminders, nannies, and au pairs
-
Pre-school care, including our nursery classes
-
Out-of-school care, such as breakfast clubs, afterschool clubs (including activities and homework clubs), and holiday clubs
At Leicester High School, we accept Childcare Vouchers against fees for non-compulsory age pupils only. Vouchers can be used towards fees for:
-
Wraparound care, including afterschool clubs and aftercare
