A Harvest of Giving

After several weeks of crafting, collecting, and designing, pupils at Leicester High School for Girls have completed their stunning Harvest Boxes, ready to be delivered to Leicestershire Women’s Aid.

Throughout the term, pupils created and decorated unique boxes filled with thoughtful donations. Each box contained a range of items — from non-perishable food to essential sanitary products and toiletries — all carefully chosen to support women and families in need across Leicestershire.

As part of the school’s annual Harvest Festival, the completed boxes were proudly displayed and judged on both their appearance and the variety of useful items inside. The creativity and care shown by the girls impressed everyone involved, with each box reflecting the pupils’ understanding of compassion, generosity, and community spirit.

The beautifully designed boxes will now be distributed by Leicestershire Women’s Aid, supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse or are facing difficult circumstances.

Well done to all pupils for their outstanding teamwork, kindness, and creativity in supporting such a worthy cause.
