The Governors of Leicester High School for Girls are seeking to appoint a charismatic, outward-facing and energetic leader to inspire and lead the school on the next chapter of its development following the retirement of Alan Whelpdale after 12 years of excellent leadership.
Leicester High School for Girls provides a personalised, high-quality education that empowers each student to achieve her full potential. The school’s approach ensures academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and a broad co-curricular programme, nurturing confident, ambitious and well-rounded young women.
The Governors are looking for an accomplished educationalist with a passion for learning and pupil development; a strategic thinker who embodies the values of LHSfG, playing a central role in leading the future direction of the school.
The successful candidate will be a passionate believer in girls’ education, a team player who can adapt to a small school’s changing needs, and will lead with integrity, positivity, respect and transparency.
An attractive remuneration package will be available, dependent on the experience and qualities of the successful candidate.
