Step into Sixth Form & Beyond: Free Prep for A Level Day

Thinking about your next steps after GCSEs? Join us for Step into Sixth Form & Beyond, an engaging preparation day designed to help students aged 14–17 develop the skills, confidence and independent learning habits needed for success in Sixth Form and beyond.
Through interactive workshops, TED-style talks from specialist staff, collaborative challenges and insights into university life, students will discover what successful learners do differently and explore the opportunities available after Sixth Form.
Places are free, but booking is essential.
Throughout the day, students will:
- Develop effective study and revision strategies
- Learn how to improve note-taking and independent learning skills
- Explore the concept of metacognition – learning how to learn
- Take part in academic discussions and team challenges
- Gain an understanding of university, apprenticeships and future career pathways
This inspiring event is ideal for students preparing for the transition to post-16 education and looking to build the skills that universities and employers value most.
