Warning Zone Visit

Students recently visited the Warning Zone, Leicester’s life-skills and safeguarding centre.

This experience equips young learners with the knowledge to navigate real-world risks safely and responsibly.

Warning Zone offers a series of interactive zones that simulate various scenarios children may encounter as they grow older. These include situations related to road safety, fire hazards, online dangers, and peer pressure. Through these realistic settings, pupils learn to make informed decisions and understand the consequences of risky behaviours.

Head of Year 6 Nuria Vicente Lorente said, “The students gained valuable insights into everyday risks and how to handle them.”

This day trip is one of many well-being activities that Leicester High School for Girls offers as part of its exceptional pastoral care.
