Our pupils in the Junior School have been busy taking part in a range of celebrations reflecting different faiths and cultures from around the world.
There was a lovely atmosphere across the school as pupils and staff came together to celebrate World Book Day, with a day centred around reading and the enjoyment of books.
Year 5 recently enjoyed a memorable visit to Gaulby Lodge Farm as part of their Cornerstones Sow, Grow and Farm Geography topic.
It was wonderful to see so many families, staff and friends in school as Leicester High School for Girls was transformed into a world of pure imagination for our production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
We are delighted to have been named a finalist in the SME Leicestershire & Rutland Business Awards, recognising the School’s commitment to service excellence and the strong relationships it builds with pupils and families.
There was a real sense of energy and inspiration around the school as we celebrated International Women’s Day with a full day of talks, workshops and conversations designed to encourage our pupils to think about the many possibilities open to them in the future.
Our EYFS and Reception girls recently enjoyed an exciting space-themed science session led by Andrew McMurray, Head of Science, who brought learning to life in a fun and hands-on way
We are delighted to share that Monica Gomez, who is completing a one-year marketing/design placement at the school, has recently taken part in the Spanish Lacrosse National Team trials in Valencia.
Year 4 recently enjoyed a visit to the New Walk Museum as part of their learning about ancient civilisations.
Our Junior pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable opportunity to perform at the BP Pulse Arena, joining thousands of young singers for a spectacular celebration of music as part of Young Voices and its 30th anniversary year.
Our Junior School pupils recently delighted audiences with their Nativity performances, sharing the Christmas story with confidence and enthusiasm.
The School was delighted to open its doors to the wider community for the Christmas Fair, welcoming pupils, families, staff, alumnae and friends of the School for a joyful afternoon.
