Congratulations to S in Year 7 who has been selected as a highly commended entry in the Key Stage 3 category in the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)’s Young Geographer of the Year competition!
The judges said"this year’s competition was of an extremely high standard, with over 1000 top 10 entries submitted to us and over 15000 people taking part in the competition globally."
S's teacher Mrs Reed said "We had a fantastic day at the Awards Ceremony for the 2019 Young Geographer of the Year Competition held at the Royal Geographical Society in London. S received a certificate for her highly commended entry in the KS3 category from TV presenter, adventurer, explorer and naturalist - Dwayne Fields FRGS! His key note speech was very inspiring. I am one very proud geography teacher!"
