GCSE Success at Leicester High School for Girls

Leicester High School for Girls is celebrating another excellent year of GCSE results. A quarter of all grades awarded were at the top Grade 9, and 86% were at Grades 9–6.

There were standout results across the board, particularly in RS, English and the Sciences, with a high number of Grade 9s. Three pupils achieved a clean sweep of Grade 8 and 9s across all subjects - an exceptional accomplishment.

Deputy Headteacher John Partridge said:

“These outstanding results reflect the focus, ambition and support that define life at Leicester High. As a specialist girls’ school, we provide an environment where every pupil is encouraged to be confident, curious and determined to succeed. I’m proud of everything our pupils have achieved - and of the staff who have supported and inspired them along the way.”

Leicester High School for Girls will be holding an Open Morning on Saturday 27 September. Families are warmly invited to come and see the School in action. To book your place or learn more, please visit: https://www.leicesterhigh.co.uk/openday
