EYFS Explore Spring at Attenborough Arboretum

EYFS pupils enjoyed a wonderful visit to Attenborough Arboretum, where they spent the day learning about nature in spring.

The girls took part in a range of practical activities, including bird watching, looking for insects, planting seeds and learning about robins and spring flowers. They also enjoyed making birds’ nests and acting like birds, helping them to understand more about wildlife and the natural world around them.

The visit gave pupils the chance to explore, ask questions and learn through hands-on experiences in a beautiful outdoor setting.

One pupil summed up the day perfectly, saying: “My favourite part of the day was having fun.”
