Year 12 Brighton Residential Trip

Our Year 12 students recently enjoyed a fantastic two-day residential trip to Brighton, combining opportunities to explore the city, spend time together and create lasting memories.
Staying in a hotel ideally located opposite the beach, students made the most of the sunshine with a game of beach volleyball before settling in for the evening. The first day concluded with a relaxed group meal at a local pizzeria in Hove.
The following day was packed with opportunities to experience Brighton’s unique character and attractions. Students visited the iconic Royal Pavilion and its beautiful gardens before exploring the independent shops and vibrant atmosphere of the Lanes. The afternoon was spent enjoying the sunshine on Brighton Palace Pier, where students sampled the rides and made the most of everything the seafront had to offer.
There was also time to relax by the sea, stroll along the promenade and enjoy the lively atmosphere before returning to the hotel for a takeaway meal and a relaxed evening together.
Head of Sixth Form, Mr Ryman, said, "Throughout the residential, the students were exceptionally well behaved and represented the school superbly at all times. They were a credit to themselves, their families and the school".
The trip provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen friendships, experience a new environment and create lasting memories, leaving everyone refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
