Exceptional A-Level Results Highlight the Strength of Leicester High Sixth Form

Following an outstanding set of A-Level results, Leicester High School for Girls is inviting families to discover the Sixth Form experience behind the success.

This summer, Leicester High Sixth Formers achieved exceptional results, with 61% of grades at A*–A and 89% at A*–B, and are now heading to leading universities and exciting courses across the country.

Among those celebrating was Shambhavi, who achieved three A* grades and is now going to study Computer Science at Cambridge. Reflecting on her time in the Sixth Form, she said:

“The School gave me so many opportunities and so much support - and I took those opportunities. My teachers really encouraged me, and I am very grateful.”

Some of the most impressive successes came from students who exceeded their target grades, highlighting Leicester High Sixth Form's ability to help girls achieve more than their previous attainment might have predicted.

At the heart of Leicester High Sixth Form are small classes, individual attention and high academic expectations, alongside opportunities for girls to develop their confidence, independence and ambitions.
