A Trip Down Memory Lane: Former Pupil Returns to Leicester High
.jpg)
We were delighted to welcome former pupil Beverley Lingle back to Leicester High School for Girls, more than 65 years after she last walked through our doors.
Beverley, who lives in America, attended Leicester High for three years between 1954 and 1957 while living in England. During her visit, she enjoyed a tour of the School, recognising familiar buildings and reminiscing about her time here.
One of the highlights was the opportunity to chat with our current pupils, sharing memories of her favourite subjects and discussing how school life has changed over the decades.
Beverley also visited our Art Department, where she admired the wonderful work on display and spent time chatting with pupils about their own creations. Her visit was rounded off with lunch in our school restaurant.
It was a lovely opportunity to bring together different generations of Leicester High girls, sharing stories and celebrating the School's history.
Thank you for visiting us, Beverley. It was a pleasure to welcome you back!
Once a Leicester High girl, always a Leicester High girl!
