Alice in Wonderland comes to life at Leicester High School for Girls

Pupils in Years 3 to 5 at Leicester High School for Girls delighted audiences this week with their performances of Alice in Wonderland.

From the opening scene to the final song, the girls gave it their all—bringing well-known characters to life with confidence and energy. Every pupil remained fully in role throughout, showing impressive focus and enthusiasm.

The colourful costumes added to the magic of the production, while the singing was clear and full of spirit. The final number, Music is My Life, had the audience clapping along and smiling as the show came to a close.

Every girl in Years 3 to 5 took part, with staff supporting. The production was a real team effort and a great example of what can be achieved when everyone works together.

Teacher of Year 5 Cheryl Dryland, said:
"It was lovely to see how much the girls enjoyed performing. They supported each other brilliantly and should all feel proud of what they achieved."

The performance was not only enjoyable for those watching—it also gave the pupils the chance to build confidence, work as a team, and have fun together.
