Fairytales by Twinkle Light
Leicester High School for Girls is inviting 2-5 year olds and their families to an enchanting evening of storytelling at its Fairytales by Twinkle Light event on Monday 3 November, from 5:15–6:15pm.
Families attending the event will gather in the school courtyard—complete with hot chocolate, gingerbread biscuits and pumpkin muffins—before moving to the Drama Studio in the Senior School. There, Mrs Rose and her Year 10 pupils will bring classic bedtime stories to life in a warm, magical setting.
“This event is a wonderful way to nurture children’s early love of books and stories,” said Mrs Rose. “Our Year 10 pupils are excited to share traditional tales and help the younger children experience the joy of storytelling.”
Fairytales by Twinkle Light is open to EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils and their families.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Weather permitting, the event will include a fire pit, adding to the fairy-tale atmosphere.
Spaces are free but limited, and booking is required.
