Hands on Visit to Gaulby Lodge Farm

Year 5 recently enjoyed a memorable visit to Gaulby Lodge Farm as part of their Cornerstones Sow, Grow and Farm Geography topic.
The girls had a hands-on experience, including the opportunity to hold newborn lambs and learn about life on a working farm. A particularly special moment came when they watched the lambing process, with our Head of Juniors even stepping in to help deliver a lamb!
The visit also gave pupils insight into modern farming methods, including how cows are milked, helping them understand where our food comes from.
It was a valuable and engaging day that brought their classroom learning to life.
